Here's how you use Leadsie to request access to your clients'
Shopify
accounts
1. Send a Leadsie link to your client
Our Shopify integration makes it easy for your clients to send you everything you need to get collaborator access to their Shopify Accounts, at the same time as connecting their other marketing & social accounts.
To get started, enable the Shopify integration, and send your client your Leadsie link.
2. They click the link and start connecting their account(s)
Your client will be guided to connect all the accounts you've requested. When it comes to Shopify, your client just inputs their store ID. This is easy to find in their Shopify URL and we tell them exactly what they need to do.
They will also be prompted to enter their collaborator code if they've set one up. We provide them with a link that takes them to exactly the right place to find their code, in case they forgot.
3. You receive all their Shopify details
Leadsie will send you an email with all the info you need to get collaborator access, and a link to follow to submit the request. Just follow the link, and enter the store ID (and collaborator code) we collected for you.
4. Your client confirms the request
Your client receives an email from Shopify which will enable them to approve your access request
5. Job done!

Our Shopify integration has to include some manual steps. WordPress doesn't offer the ability to fully automate access requests at this point.
However, we've made this much easier for you and your clients:
- With the Shopify integration, you can get access to Shopify at the same time as all the other assets you request with Leadsie.
- This means you don't need to send separate instructions for Shopify or maintain onboarding instructions for Shopify at alll - we will keep ours up to date for you.
- We make it super easy for your clients to find the necessary information, with clear instructions to find their Shopify ID and a personalized "deep link" to the right place in Shopify to find their collaborator code if they set one up.
- You can keep track of Shopify access requests within Leadsie, and get notified when you receive access or your client has any problems
Yes! We have spent a lot of time making sure Leadsie is secure.
We are partnering with Meta, Google, TikTok (and more) and are approved for giving you access. When we grant your access to accounts, the required information (tokens) is encrypted and locked down to a database that only our Leadsie servers can access.
No one would be able to get access to you or your clients' accounts, even if our servers were compromised.We are also fully GDPR compliant and can provide a Data processing agreement (DPA) upon request.
