How often does software improve efficiency for your business, clients, and customers? 🕵️
(Hint: Leadsie does that!)
DashClicks has been helping thousands of marketing agencies grow and scale since 2009. Their software and fulfilment services cater to new, first-time agency owners and large, full-service marketing agencies.
At this scale, client onboarding can easily become a huge bottleneck that stalls work, delays billing cycles, and costs extra hours of employee time. 🫠😩
We spoke to Gil Golan, Chief Customer Officer (CCO) of DashClicks, to get a sneak peek into his role. He shares with us how they streamlined their client onboarding process with Leadsie, and how that led to happier clients and increased profits 🙌
What does DashClicks do?
DashClicks is a unique blend of a marketing services agency and a software company. It is a user-friendly marketing automation software designed to help agencies scale—no matter their size. From getting more leads to closing more deals, DashClicks has it all on one easy-to-use platform.
It's not just another marketing SaaS, though!
DashClicks also offers white label fulfillment services for ads, SEO, content, backlinks, and more—the whole gamut needed to run a marketing agency.
This allows agencies to spend more time growing their business instead of managing rising overheads, hiring, and managing staff.
"Essentially, agencies can offload their clients to us if they don't have the capacity"
Onboarding new clients was taking too much time
The traditional way of onboarding requires clients to log on to Meta, Google, etc, and add DashClicks to their account.
Sounds simple enough?
In reality, it often takes several hours of calls to guide clients through the steps to grant access.
Then comes the onboarding verification stage, where they'll check if they have all the necessary information and access to start work. If there is missing information, the account manager from DashClicks has to schedule and get on another call with the client.
This repeats until all the correct access has been given. 👀
As a white label provider, it gets even more complex when there are two levels of clients: the agency and the end user (their customers).
- Account managers can't communicate directly with end users, so they have to speak through the agency.
- Sometimes the agency themselves don't fully know how to provide or request for access.
This was what we were doing before, trying to make sure we had all the access, and it really bogged us down
It is like a super inefficient game of telephone. The onboarding process was clunky, but Gil wasn't one to accept the status quo.
How Leadsie made onboarding easier
Gil wears many hats at DashClicks, and one of his goals is to streamline both customer service and operations to improve overall efficiency.
For example, if an agency comes to them for help with Meta ads, the account manager will ask for business information, ad spend, analytics, account access, and all that stuff. There are so many steps. It takes time. And it usually takes multiple calls to get it right.
Getting Facebook access for Meta ads is complex, even for agencies. The new ones just starting off are struggling.
How Leadsie comes into the picture is during the onboarding process.
With Leadsie, all the clients have to do is open a link, log on to their Facebook account in the browser, and click accept. And DashClicks gets the access they need to start work.
The best part? You can get access to all the assets for a platform and multiple integrations (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok) at once with just one secure link.
It's as simple as, "Hey, go ahead and click on the following link to provide us with access"
There's no need to coach your clients through multiple settings screens to give you access when you can automate it with Leadsie!
Onboarding done right: the secret to happier clients and revenue
Instead of getting on calls with different people to guide them through giving access to their Meta and Google Analytics accounts, they'll just drop a Leadsie link and make everyone's lives easier.
A better customer experience leads to retention and more clients
Streamlining the onboarding process actually helped DashClicks generate more revenue per client.
He explains, "An agency purchases a Google Ads service with us. We charge them initially, and a month after we launch the campaign. By streamlining onboarding, we get access quicker and can start the monthly billing cycle sooner."
It directly impacts our bottom line
They reduced their turnaround time by 50%
In the past, they used to promise a two-week turnaround from the time a client buys a fulfillment service like Meta ads or Google ads.
With Leadsie improving onboarding efficiency, they now do it within a week. That's half of what it used to take!
From an operational standpoint, Leadsie is super user-friendly and has been a godsend in simplifying onboarding.
A lot of the feedback I've gotten is that our platform is a lot more user-friendly than some of our competitors.
DashClicks scored a big win: improving their internal processes led to efficiency gains for themselves, their clients, and the end users.
Thanks, Gil, for sharing how you optimized DashClicks' onboarding process and how Leadsie played a part in it. It was great learning about how your team stays true to the commitment to making everything—from the software to communication to onboarding—as user-friendly as possible.
