Who is First Page? 

First Page is a global digital marketing agency focused on lead generation, SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and CRO. 

Three years ago, they opened their Australia branch, which has gone from strength to strength since day one. 

They are now Australia’s highest-rated digital marketing agency. From startups to Fortune 500 companies, First Page counts some of the world’s biggest brands as their clients. 

The onboarding dilemma

“Access is the hardest part of onboarding a new client.” 

When you sign a new client, the last thing you want is to cause confusion with a lengthy onboarding process.

Unfortunately, as for most agencies, Rhymney told me that getting client marketing account access was always the most tricky part of the onboarding process for First Page. 

Barriers like privacy issues and clients not even having access to their accounts themselves were causing headaches all around. 

Before Leadsie, it was very much a back-and-forth email discussion with a really BIG, heavy-access document.

Staff would have to spend a bunch of time removing irrelevant slides from the access document as not everyone has the same CMS and the doc could be up to 100(!) slides.

Clunky to say the least.   

The lasting impact of first impressions

We all know that the first impression can be the make or break of a new customer relationship.

Especially when you are a prestigious agency with a reputation to uphold. It's all about being fast-paced and proving you know the most efficient way to get things done. 

So imagine what it says to the client when you use an antiquated onboarding process that lags. 

Without access, the account managers can’t launch campaigns or even look at data, which is highly problematic for a performance and data-driven agency like First Page.

Account Managers rely on getting quick access to the numbers to build a strategy and know where to take the account next.

Hours wasted getting access = frustrated clients, an awkward first impression, and more difficulty building trust and rapport with those new clients. 

How has Leadsie improved the clunky onboarding?

One of the main points Rhymney emphasized in our conversation was that onboarding isn’t only about speed, but also professionalism.

If you're a client being onboarded with a new agency, every touch point in that process is a chance for the agency to show themselves as high-tech, fast movers. 

So when a client receives a Leadsie link to click on, and it gives them access so quickly, it shows that First Page is an A-game agency partner who can adapt quickly to new technologies and ways of getting things done.

From a speed perspective, Leadsie definitely made onboarding a lot faster, and it puts them one step ahead because they can look at data even before onboarding is complete. 

What used to take at least half a day is now just a 10 minute email and a 30 second check that the access has come through.

But just as important as speed is the touch point of the process that shows First Page knows how to get things done efficiently and wants to serve their clients to the highest possible standard. 

Thanks to Leadsie, what would otherwise be a long-winded, manual process is now smooth, professional and seamless.
